Vinification: After a soft maceration, the vinification takes place in BARRIQUE (so-called INTEGRAL VINIFICATION) and with subsequent further refinement in French oak barriques for 24 months and a further 12 months in the bottle before being put on sale.
TASTING NOTES
Color: Intense red with garnet reflections.
Smell: Intense fruity with hints of red fruits and berries and a spicy background attributable to cinnamon and cloves.
Taste: Decisive, full-bodied, intense and persistent with a fruity finish.
Food and wine pairings: Game, mature cheeses, braised and roast meat.
Serving temperature: 18°-20° C. Decant before serving.
Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.
Conte Giangirolamo Gold Edition is an exclusive version of Tenute Girolamo's famous Apulian IGP red, produced in the Itria Valley. A 50% Primitivo and 50% Negroamaro blend, aged to achieve greater complexity and aromatic depth.
