Vinification: After a soft maceration and subsequent fermentation in steel, a long maturation in French and American oak barrels for 12 months follows. The process is completed with a 6-month bottle aging.
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Intense red.
Smell: Fruity with hints of cherries in spirit, berries and plums; evident spicy notes of vanilla and nutmeg and finally a suave hint of dark chocolate.
Taste: Dry, velvety, smooth and persistent, evoking the richness of the nose.
Food and wine pairings: Medium-aged cheeses, red meats and grilled meats.
Serving temperature: 18°-20° C.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
